I apologize for this short diary but I feel compelled to write this. Yesterday, I got a phone call from MoveOn.Org asking for donations to go toward their ad campaigns in favor of energy reforms. The money is needed because energy companies and their allies have spent about $100 million dollars to thwart reforming the energy sector. In that regard, calling your congressperson will be insufficient. We need to fight any ads that spread misinformation by putting ads to counteract it. There's needs to be documentary to expose the lies in Rick Scott's "documentary" on universal coverage that was shown on the History channel. We also need ads to frame the debate. The ads can't always be reactive, they must be proactive and creative as well.
